Yoga Retreat FAQ
How many spaces are available?
The maximum number of participants in the Thailand retreat will be twelve (12), with a minimum number of eight (8) paid reservations confirmed 61 days ahead of the trip in order for the trip to occur.
Is there a minimum age to attend?
All participants must be aged 18 or over.
How do I sign up for my free Health and Well-Being Coaching Session after I've booked the trip?
I am offering all retreat participants a complimentary 50-minute Health and Well-Being Coaching session in advance of the trip. This can help set you on the path toward your wellness goals, and give me a sense of how I may be able to support your holistic well-being while in Thailand. You can include additional sessions as an “Add-On” to the trip.
Can I pay a single supplement for the whole room and bring a non-retreat participant?
Non-retreat participants may join at the shared double rate. They can opt to join any activities, and will be considered in the transporation planning.
Can I sign up for a shared double room if I'm traveling alone?
Yes, and we will attempt to match you up with another traveler of the same sex. Please see the Traveler Terms & Conditions for pricing information if we cannot match you up with another traveler.
Can I switch to a different room option (single, double, suite) after I've booked?
We can switch you up to 61 days ahead of time, subject to availability.
Can I stay extra night(s) before or after the retreat?
If you plan to arrive in Chiang Mai on Tues. Oct. 28, ahead of the retreat, please purchase an “add-on” to stay an extra night at The Amata Lanna. This add-on will include transportation from Chiang Mai airport to the Amata Lanna upon arrival.
What insurance company do you recommend?
Travel Insurance is required. There are a variety of plans and options with InsureMyTrip.com.
I'm new to yoga. Will the retreat be suitable for me?
Yes. I will provide options and modifications for varying abilities and physical limitations, so as long as you are physically healthy and somewhat active, and comfortable modifying as needed, I believe the retreat will be suitable for you. Please note that the classes are mostly vinyasa flow for all levels. If you have any questions about the yoga, please feel free to contact me at mindfulbeecompany@gmail.com.
Are yoga mats provided?
Please bring your own yoga mat, as they are available at the Panviman, but not at the other hotels.
What is this retreat about?
This retreat is an experience or journey of transformation, with the goal of shifting a state of being within yourself, by taking time away from your busy life and reflecting within community, while finding time alone, as needed. The practices of yoga, meditation and nature assist in enhancing this retreat experience. As a rejuvenating experience, this is not an educational workshop and not affiliated with any organization for CEs (continuing education).
I hope this retreat helps you tap into a deeper consciousness by relaxing your mind and thoughts and move to a place of inner peace.
