The Chiang Mai region /Mae Rim Loop holds a sacred allure with its mountains, jungles, night markets, temples, wonderful food and some of the absolute sweetest people on the planet. What a beautiful place to practice yoga and mindfulness.
Here is a high-level itinerary. Once we have our group together, I will coordinate mindfulness activities based on your interests. As these will be customized, they are not yet decided. Stay tuned for more details. I look forward to this journey with you.

Thursday, Oct. 30 |
7:30-8 a.m. Meditation (Amata Lanna Villa) 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Breakfast at the hotel, poolside Explore the area on your own. Massage, walking, wats, sightseeing, shopping. Recommend visiting Old Town Chiang Mai, wandering. Check out the Wat Phra Singh Temple (Gold Temple) with wax statues of Buddhist monks and Wat Chedi Luang from the 14th century. 4 – 5 p.m. Yoga class (Amata Lanna Villa) |
Friday, Oct. 31 |
7:30-8 a.m. Villa Meditation (Amata Lanna Villa) 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. Breakfast at the hotel, poolside Excursion: Wat Pha Lat, a hidden jungle temple is very special, and includes a small “monks' walk” hike. Yoga at the wat in the meditation pavilion.
7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Yoga Nidra Class (Amata Lanna Villa) |
Saturday, Nov. 1 |
7 a.m.-8 a.m. yoga class (Amata Lanna Villa) 8 a.m.- 9 a.m. Pilates class. (Amata Lanna Villa) 9 a.m. Breakfast 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Holistic Health and Well-Being clinic (Breakfast/Pool area) Day: Highly recommend visiting a couple of Wats in Chiang Mai by taxi. Don’t miss Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, one of the most important and sacred temples in Northern Thailand.
Eve, until late: Night market is walkable from the hotel. Festival activities happening all over the city. |
